Bahamas & U.S. Keys (April - September)

Everyone’s list of the world’s top 10 beaches includes Harbour Island’s famed Pink Sands Beach. Few know that pink sand also spreads over 35 miles on the Atlantic Ocean and Caribbean Sea sides of Eleuthera Island.

Eleuthera & Harbour Island

There are many spectacular stretches of sand here, most notably Treasure Cay Beach, which was voted one of the 10 best beaches in the region. Ocean Beach has sugary sand, Tahiti Beach has soft white sand and seven-mile-long Guana Cay Beach has a tall dune.

The Abacos

There are thousands of miles of invitingly soft, white-sand beaches stretching along the length of the chain, cays and inlets, for relaxing or exploring by foot and by boat. The shallow, crystal-clear waters provide one of the prettiest settings for snorkeling in the entire Bahamas.

The Exumas

The Bahamas is known for its stellar beaches. With over 2,000 breathtaking islands and cays, and the clearest water on Earth, it’s no wonder visitors come from all around to sink their toes into miles of pure white, and in some places pink, sand. Many of our beaches have been voted “best in the world” by numerous publications, and it’s not uncommon to find a celebrity or two strolling along our shores. In short, the beaches you’ll find here are the very definition of paradise.

Nassau/Paradise Island

Grand Bahama Island's sprawling reef-protected shoreline and cays are covered with powdery white-sand beaches. Some 90 miles of the southern shore is white-sand beach, punctuated by a number of waterways and more than 50 miles of that is secluded.

Long Island's beaches are dramatic, serene and scenic, stretching as far as the eye can see. The most beautiful—Cape Santa Maria Beach—has been ranked among the best in the world. Some beaches have water that is deep shades of blue and turquoise, separated by cliffs to hike over and reefs you can walk on when the tide is low.
